The Future looks bright...
In June, 2016, the NB provincial government was presented with a 10-year education plan generated to help identify the priorities and focus necessary to develop a culture of learning and overall well-being for NB students.
Sackville Schools 2020 was part of the public consulation process undertaken to generate the plan, along with teachers, students, parents, and other interested stakeholders. The resulting report, Everyone at Their Best, outlines recommendations which will help inform the NB education system in the coming years.
It is exciting to see the many parallels between the recommendations made in the report and the principles put forth by Sackville Schools 2020. By supporting the innovative, inspiring education model gaining momentum in Sackville, the NB government would be taking a major step to helping meet its 10-year education plan objectives.
